Rankow
How it works

A daily rhythm with a human brake.

The engine runs the loop every day: discover, plan, write, check, publish, measure. Your team approves the draft and owns the exceptions. Nothing bypasses review.

The daily run

One cycle, one day, one review.

Times are the engine's clock. Human review sits between the quality check and publish, and it is not optional.

The run pauses at review until a person approves

First 30 days

The first cycle, in order.

Onboarding is a sequence, not a switch. The first plan is reviewed before the first draft, and the first GSC read closes the month.

Day 1–3

Connect the site

Shopify store and Search Console are connected. Read-only access first, so nothing is written before review.

Day 3–7

Set the competitor set

Twelve competitor domains and a seed set are configured with your brand rules and market.

Day 7–14

Plan the first 120 units

The first page-level plan is generated, reviewed, and ordered hub-first before writing begins.

Day 14–21

Draft the first 10 articles

The first batch goes through brief, draft, and the quality gate. Your team approves before publish.

Day 21–30

Read the first index rate

The first Search Console read shows what is indexed. The queue is adjusted before cycle two.

Timeline assumes access and approvals arrive in week one

Responsibilities

What the engine runs. What stays yours.

Rankow handles the repeatable work. Your team keeps the judgment that does not fit a rule.

Rankow runs

  • Competitor discovery and the candidate pool
  • Page-level planning and hub ordering
  • Briefs, drafts, and the quality gate
  • Shopify publishing with snapshots
  • Search Console reads at 28 days
  • Refresh scheduling and rollback checks

You own

  • Brand voice, claims, and tone
  • Approving every draft before publish
  • Exceptions and sensitive topics
  • Publishing on non-Shopify platforms
  • Business context the data cannot know

Guardrails

Four ways the run stops itself.

Guardrails are part of the engine, not a support promise. They run before, during, and after the cycle.

Budget gate

A run cannot start if the projected data cost exceeds the cycle budget. It stops before spending, not after.

Index rate throttle

If indexation falls below 70%, the publishing queue slows down until the site catches up.

URLs stay fixed

Rankow never changes an existing URL. Refreshes update the article in place, with the same address.

Snapshot rollback

Every publish stores the previous version. A drop of more than three positions at 28 days can be reversed.

Onboarding

From demo to daily rhythm in four steps.

The first plan is the checkpoint. If the pages do not match your business, you will know before any writing budget is spent.

Start with a demo
01DemoA 20-minute session on your competitors and your current content. No deck.
02ConfigureCompetitor domains, seed set, brand rules, and approval path.
03Review the first planThe page-level plan is yours to edit before a single draft is written.
04Enter the rhythmThe daily run starts. Your team reviews; Rankow measures at 28 days.
